Ramblings

Hey, it is a good day!  At quarter after eight, the kids are in bed, the dishwasher loaded, and the house got cleaned today (and still looks half decent).  

 Noah called from work at 0250 on Sunday morning to tell me that we were under  a tornado warning.  Just a side note: it doesn't matter how many times you hit it, the snooze button on the alarm clock will not shut the ring tone off on the cell phone!  We had cooler weather for a couple of days after the storms, but it is now back up in the high 80s - 90s.  I think that I should take the kids for a walk earlier in the day tomorrow.  Although, I probably burned more calories with the heat today.

Speaking of calories, my brownies are out of the oven now.  Gotta head that direction!

Y'all know me.  I like pictures.  I am posting a few pics from our recent tour of the southwestern U.S.A.  I started with a picture of our wonderful Monterey sunsets, followed by the trip itself, and ending with the Thunderbirds who performed in the air show soon after we arrived in TX.

Adileah insisted that I needed my own blogspot, so I am giving it a try.   Usually, Noah does most things that are related to the computer,  but he is on duty tonight.  I have made it this far!  I'll try to keep it updated on a semi-regular basis.
